Tea Party

It got really quiet in the house this morning — Wade and Ella were still asleep, and Cadence was playing alone in the big room (aka dining room/living room area).

I grabbed my camera and snuck in to see what she was doing –  I interrupted her little tea party with Baby Alive.

A little bit later Wade woke up and tried to join the party.   Cadence was not a fan of that, but couldn’t keep him out.

Party over!

Most of all I think Cadence was just happy to find all of her food/cooking/tea party stuff all together in one basket together.  I didn’t get a chance to update yesterday, but my Aunt Judy stayed with Wade yesterday while I had my CT scan.  When I got back we sorted through all the toys, which is no small task!  Hilary graciously took the girls back to her house after preschool and fed them lunch to keep them out of our hair until we finished.

The girls love playing over there!  Evidently they also like the gumballs that fall in the (neighbor’s?) yard…both girls picked up a handful to bring home with them! Cadence insisted we put one in a vase:

Goodnight!

Love the photos! I think it’s a little brother’s prerogative to attempt to destroy whatever project big sister has going on at the time. The sweet part is, I think that usually they honestly just want to do whatever it is big sis is doing- because they think that she is the coolest! (At least that’s how it works at our house.) And I think this may be the first time a gumball has been elevated to “flower” status: very nice! 🙂

Hope everything went well yesterday! Continue to keep you lifted up in my prayers! I can actually say I know what you are going through! Just always know that I am here for you if you need me! I love watching what you write about the kids, there too we have two sisters and a baby brother! I see my life happening before me again! The best days of my life! I am here to tell you, they are still a close- knit threesome who still like to be involved in each others tea party!!! I thank God of their closeness for each other and for blessing me with three wonderful children! I love you and your family so much. Please let me know if I can do something!

Beautiful pictures Candace! You are very talented. And isn’t it a great feeling to not be entirely consumed by cancer?

How cute. Those limbs across the doorway do not deter crawlers, do they. I know you enjoyed that. Hope to see you soon.
